Black Horse Project EP4 ~ Designing the Stance / Looking for Handle Bar, Copper Stem

Now that the bike is stripped bare, I need to find the right handle bar to use. Without it, I cannot proceed. The Handle bar will determine the seat position. I used a copper electrical high tension cable connector as a handle bar stem. I also used an open wrench as a gear shifter.

We plan to join 2018 bike shows with this new Pinoy Adventure Rider brand of bike customization. The donor bike is a Jianshe Intense 110cc bought for 100 Dollars. Let’s see where we get from here. We do not have a particular design on paper. We just proceed with what we have, what we can gather from donors because we do not have a big budget for this. We go to bike shops and collect their very old stock parts. What we have in mind when designing is, we have to be very unique and with just one word in mind: ADVENTURE!

PAR Outreach Program at Manila Boy’s Town ~ Nov. 19, 2017

It was such a lovely day last Nov. 19, 2017. Not so hot and it was not raining also. PAR Chef Alan Malano started cooking the goto at 10 AM. He and his wife also woke up early to get the ingredients from the Marikina Market.

We really could use a better donor bike but we do not have such cash and we have to start somewhere. We hope this old, beat up bike will keep the ball rolling and hopefully, you will see this bike at the motorcycle show in 2018.
