After our bicycle rides, we end up here at GotoBOB.
We love it here.
Their specialty, goto.
That famous comfort food of rice and meat in a bowl.
Another specialty, their killer-delicious tokwa and baboy, fried tofu and deep-fried pork lechon mixed in a special combination of soy, vinegar, salt, pepper, water and sugar, boiled to perfection.
This is their secret weapon, this soy-vinegar mixture which is actually drinkable.
All the food here are delicious.
Leche Flan like the movie, it’s “Gone in 60 seconds”.
Another comfort food Mami Noodles, superb!
We call this PUTO. It is a type of sticky bread with cheese on top. Not sweet, but just right.
We call this TAPSILOG. Shortcut for TAPA-SINANGAG-ITLOG (cured beef-fried rice – egg)
We call this LUMPIANG SHANGHAI (fried spring roll with meat inside) that black soy down there, that’s the killer sauce (i mean that in a good way)
Puto, leche flan, tapsilog, mami, bopis, etc. It is like a mortal sin for them to be serving mediocre products.
I believe marketing is not a priority for them because people are just swarming their stores like flies to a honey.
They have 2 branches (very soon to be 3) 100 meters apart from each other and they are open 24 hours a day.
It’s just odd not seeing a line of people in their stores.
Their pricing, ridiculously cheap. We always joke about their pricing that 5 presidential elections took place already and prices are still same. That’s well appreciated though. Thanks for that.
Like I always say, if you create the best things out of anything, people will patronize you even without spending on marketing.
We love GotoBOB and we will be there soon, again!
This is Pinoy Adventure Rider – Thanks for reading.
