Sydney Olympic Park is a large sporting, cultural and leisure complex located 15 km. west from Sydney Central Business District, New South Wales, Australia.
It was the home of the 2000 Olympics.
The Sydney Olympic Park area provides numerous venues for athletic events:
Aquatic, Archery, Tennis, Golf, Hockey and more.
It has parks such as Bicentennial Park, Wentworth Common, Blaxland Riverside Park, Woo-La-Ra and Wilson Park.
Access to the area and parks is free.
My brother Chito lives very near Sydney Olympic Park.
[brother Chito and cousin Eric]
He’s got 2 full-suspension mountain bikes and 3 folding bikes.
The park is 40-hectares huge. Just like in Singapore, their bike lanes are excellent.
[this is their uphill – a local told me that this place was a dump site before – there may be trash inside this hill]
[so many pretty birds at Sydney Olympic Park – they are free to roam around – no one hurts them]
[no police visibility in all Australia – just lots of CCTV, COOL!]
[ Aussies are very friendly and courteous]
[ Not a biker? – Lots of walkers and joggers too]
There is drinking fountain everywhere. Thanks Aussie. Nice one.
This is the Monster X park.
